This was our first foray into documentary-making and it was profoundly gratifying to capture real people. The process was emotional, and we got so attached to the 3 families we filmed.
A walk on Water is a surf therapy non-profit based in Malibu, with the mission to help kids with disabilities learn how to surf which has been proven extremely beneficial for them.
To promote the cause, we shot a short documentary following 3 kids and their families on their way to a surf therapy event. The short documentary is called Walk with Us and follows Milo, JJ and Lexi, three surf athletes with different types of disabilities.
